Baloch people welcome Akbar
Bugti’s statement for Baloch unity

Dear All: Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in an
interview on BBC Urdu today evening invited all Baloch political
leaders to leave the parliamentary politics and unite their
ranks to form a single party instead of present four parties. He
said that he is ready to desolve his "Jamhoori Watan Party' in
favour of the single party of Baloch nation. He said that the
Baloch leaders should leave their ego and come together to
struggle for Baloch rights. He added that when all political
leaders meet the question of leadership will be solved among them
for new party.
Nawab Bugti's call is the most urgent need
of Baloch nation. We as intellectuals, writers and political
thinkers among us fully support Nawab
Akbar Khan Bugti's call and appeal to all
political
leaders of three political parties to unite
their ranks and avail the opportunity of new geopolitical
situation in the world. I appeal to our
leaders to learn their lessons from our
Kurd cousins in Iraq. If Baloch are united the world will listen
to their just demands otherwise they will lose their ancestral
land for ever.

I was very happy to hear Nawab Akbar
Bugti's statement. I suggest NP to response in a possitive
manner to this historical call. And highly hopeful that Khair
Baksh Marri group joins.
BNP (M) and BNP (awami) should have a
separate unity. Let the people have a choice of two. No room
should be left for non friendly forces in Balochistan.

Dr Jumma Khan Marri Chairman of Baloch Unity Organisation
welcomed Mr. Bugti’s wise statement and asked the Baloch nation
to rejuvenate the promise that "we will continue our struggle
for the mutual affinity and unity among ourselves".
Baloch unity has been calling for such unity long before, we
strongly welcome Mr. Bugti’s this wise and timely statement, we
wish it should be implemented as fast as possible as time does
not wait for another day and moves faster and the Paki army grip
is tightening every coming day.
In his message Dr Marri said that the Baloch nation should also
make all efforts on this auspicious statement of Mr. Bugti to
shun tribal and Political differences to inculcate unity in
Baloch ranks. "To maintain balance in our lives and think beyond
our short term interests and avoid tribal conflicts is in line
with the teachings of history and it is our Baloch duty to unite
in such difficult times in our history as our enemies are
pushing us to the wall needs to be followed.
"On this occasion, the need is to rejuvenate the promise that we
will continue to struggle for mutual affinity and unity among
ourselves and never allow our enemies to divide us on tribal
sectarianism. Also, the efforts to shun our political and
personal differences must be our top priority.
Our preferences should be to provide the Baloch nation with the
true prospective of the independent Baloch country and should
put the human right violations committed by Pakistan and Iran
against Baloch nation in the world focus.
We must maintain and enhance Baloch unity avoid tribal
unilateral actions against each other Mr. Akbar this statement
should be in the line with true intentions and needs to be
followed in that context. "On this occasion, we pray to Allah
Almighty to save our Baloch country from every crisis and
calamities and open gateways of His blessings and benevolence to
us so that we also enjoy freedom and equality in our home land
and join the club of free nations."
We in support of this statement also call upon all the sons of
the soil to unite and face the grave realities of the time.
Baloch must understand that keeping dear our tribal or personal
interests will bring us down one by one that is what enemies of
Baloch nation are trying today and always did in the past.
Baloch unity is inevitable and historical need if we want to
survive as a nation and remain in the world map Baloch unity is
the only answer.
Without unity we will be dragged away one by one like the way
they did with our brother Imdad Baloch and his friends, these
days this types of disappearances became common in Balochistan

i appreciateed bugti suggestion for all baloch in pakistan
for np.dear it is still not clear to people, what type bughti
wants np. if we see fast history of bughti . in 1971. he bombed
on baloch in balochistan,17 march accident he seprettely maked
aggrement with muslim league delagation. he did not need
conseltation with others leadership of baloch.bughti have always
have soft corner for federal govt. he just need mony. it is
clear to every body even pushtton knows bughti will miss handel
balochistan situation near futures.it is also clear to all
balochistan people bughti have not stong roots in people . there
i think it is free mature steps. and it benefet will goes to
centeral govt .some people are saying the idea of np there is
isi interst looking.i think all people will see bughti will take

I think all the four parites will welcome Nawab's
suggestion. However there will be problems and
disagreements between them, Because Nawab Khair Baksh
does not belive in Pakistani Parliment Politics. and the
other 3 parties do think that Both Arm and parlimentary
Struggles should be togther, I myself support this view.

There are
nation-states of smaller in size and
population than Lyari
quarters in Karachi and the
same island states
are the members of the United
Nations. Recently we
saw with our own eyes that
East Temur became
independent and became a state. Ache of
Indonesia is trying to become free
from its mother
country. If Baloch unite their ranks
anything can happen in present day changing
world. Balochistan with all these resources
and a long coastline has the best chance of

Step In The Right Direction
The recent call
for a single Baloch political party by
Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti is a historical
step in the right direction . All
credit is due to Nawab Akbar Khan
Bugti in taking this historic and
brave step in trying to unify the Baloch
under one political banner. Many among
the Baloch Nation have been hoping and
praying for just such a move . The
rank and file among the Baloch Nation
have realised that our national
interests can not be served by having
smaller fractured political parties .
Having several parties , just doesn't
give the political clout that is
needed . It is now time for all Baloch
politicians and tribal chiefs to heed
this call for unity , and quite
rightly to put their ego's to one side
, and do what is good for the Baloch
National interest . This is a unique
and probally last chance of unifying
all the Baloch in Pakistan as a whole
.
Those Baloch
politicians and tribal chiefs who
prefer to go their own way , or prefer
Pakistan to their own Baloch brothers
. They should do well to remember that
Pakistan is a failed state , and
Pakistan will collapse in the near
future . If they wish to follow failed
Punjabi / Indian muhajir politicians
into the black hole of oblivion then
let them do so .
A single Baloch
political party comprising of Baloch
from all over Pakistan will give the
Baloch Nation a single and powerful
voice and a much stronger hand in any
negotiations . It will also create a
golden opportunity to awaken and re
educate the Baloch masses . The poor
and the down trodden among the Baloch
have to be given concrete hope , and
the promise of a better future . Empty
words and false promises will only
shatter their dreams once again . The
creation of Pakistan has been a blight
on the lives of the Baloch . Over 70%
of Pakistan is made up of Baloch
territory whether it be in Balochistan ,
Sindh or Punjab . The revenue
generated by Karachi and Sui Gas are
the two biggest earners for Pakistan ,
and yet neither the Baloch or the
Sindhi's see any benefit from it. The
parasitic regime in Islamabad must be
made accountable for this flagrant
inequality . The Punjabi's can not
keep hiding behind the same old
excuses that they have a much larger
population to cater for . A single
Baloch political party and a think
tank made up from members of the
Baloch Nation is sorely needed .
Serious questions need to be asked ,
and they need to be answered .

According to a news report on
Daily asaap website, Attaullah
Mengal has welcomed the call of
Nawab Akbar Khan for a unified
political party.
I think,practically,Nawab Akbar
Bugti and Attaullah Mengal don't
go together on one platform. They
must stay separate. They however,
can form a working body (a kind of
coopration on certain issues that
matter the most).
A unity between JWP and NP -as Dr
Tawghi proposed before- will be
very practical. Attaullah Mengal
can seek unity with BNP-Awami. At
the same time people like Sayad
Sher Jan Baloch, BNMs, Ehsan Shah,
Dr Jumma Khan Marri and Zubaida
Jalal must join any one of these
two groups to further strengthen
the democratic politics in
Balochistan.
Nawab Khair Baksh Marri camp
don't seem to be very much
interested in party politics. But
if they were they can be more
useful with JWP+NP unity.
It must be noted; A political
party that include both Nawab
Bugti and Attaullah Mengal is
bound to suffer set backs.

letting ourselves down by

From my personal opinion Waja Towghi, Waja Ameeri, Dr. Jumma Khan Marri and May 17, editorial of Daily Asaap responded Nawab Akbar Bugti’s visionary statement optimistically. I strongly agree with Nawab Akbar Bugti’s message to the whole Baloch leadership (small or big political forces, and groups) saying we will only succeed against the enemies if all of us put our differences and ego aside. During this critical movement we must come out of our boxes for the sake of Baloch and Balochistan. Only hoping and wishing will not make the Baloch unity happen. The following statement clearly says Baloch must to take a bold and radical approach to defend their homeland.
Nawab Akbar Bugti said “the Baloch would highly appreciate if nationalist parties, groups and personalities, including the National Party, the Balochistan National Party, the Haq Tawar and the JWP ended their separate identities and formed a broader political platform.’”……. that such a platform would enable the Baloch nation to decide whether to pursue the path of parliamentary politics with patience or wage a decisive struggle.” ….Further he said “We should be ready to wage a struggle and to sacrifice our comforts.”

Good news that BSO –Muttaheda leaders are safe. I hope they soon be released and continue with their educational activities.
I also hope that this faction of BSO removes word Muttaheda from their name. This word represents Muhajers.
What we (as political workers) need now is to concentrate on Nawab Bugti’s message for unity. I hope NP and BSO faction that support NP will start dialogue with JWP with out any delay.
We must not be discouraged by statements of some hypocrites who want Baloch to work in accordance to the military regime’s rules and regulations (so called law).

I do appreciate the recent call by JWP for one balochi party. Our efforts for our common cause, I urge you all, and especially the National Party leader, Dr. Hai baloch particular to seize this oppurtunity. I believe we have already lost three chances in the past to raise our voices and reclaim Baloch rights. It is our national duty to utilize this oppurtunity because it may never be repeated again and future generation would not excuse us if we fail to do so. I encourage all of you to listen to the JWP call for one and only one Balochi party

Dear members,
From my personal opinion Waja Towghi, Waja Ameeri,
Dr. Jumma Khan Marri and May 17, editorial of
Daily Asaap responded Nawab Akbar Bugti’s
visionary statement optimistically. I strongly
agree with Nawab Akbar Bugti’s message to the
whole Baloch leadership (small or big political
forces, and groups) saying we will only succeed
against the enemies if all of us put our
differences and ego aside. During this critical
movement we must come out of our boxes for the
sake of Baloch and Balochistan. Only hoping and
wishing will not make the Baloch unity happen. The
following statement clearly says Baloch must to
take a bold and radical approach to defend their
homeland.
Nawab Akbar Bugti said “the Baloch would highly
appreciate if nationalist parties, groups and
personalities, including the National Party, the
Balochistan National Party, the Haq Tawar and the
JWP ended their separate identities and formed a
broader political platform.’”……. that such a
platform would enable the Baloch nation to decide
whether to pursue the path of parliamentary
politics with patience or wage a decisive
struggle.” ….Further he said “We should be ready
to wage a struggle and to sacrifice our comforts.”
