The creation of Pakistan proved to
be a dooms-day for the people of
not only Balochistan but also for the
whole Pakistan. Pashtuns were
mecrcilasly butchered in Peshawar,
the Bengalis were quelled ruthlessly, Sindh assembly was dissolved and
their members were chased and arrested. The muslim military &
buraeucrates of of British Raj, were given free hands to follow their "expansionist
policy" who invaded Kashmir, Quraqaram, and Balochistan.
As regards Balochistan,
the barbaric and unjustice actions of the
elite class of Panjab/Mohajirs - through
their armed forces - has left behind
the cruilities of Changez Khan and
even the European colonial powers.
Balochs are under the
Pakistan Military attacks. Due to the strict
ban on media, refusal of Pakistani
authorities to permit the Journalists to visit the beseiged areas of
Balochistan.....Radio Gwank Balochistan labours to clloect the news
which relates to the ground realities about the current situation in
Balochistan.
The above link of
"Radio Gwank Balochistan" describes a story, based on interviews, about
a deliberate attack of Pakistani "Narcotic Forces"
upon a car in which three respectable
Balochs were travelling for a picnic. The car stoped near the armed
forces but they (Narcotic Forces) opened fires in which Mr. Khalil
Ahmed and Mr. Agha Manzoor were killed.Mr. Arif Baloch was injured. The
relatives of the deceased have registered a case
in the court, against the Panjabi
soldiers but they are still on duty and their services are not
terminated. The relatives of the deceased appeal for justice.
This is one of the
drops from the ice-mountain. Balochistan is suffering
from such accidents since 1948. The
political activists, patriotice Baloch national leaders and Sardars are
being killed. Balochistan is being turned into a no-go area for not
only foreign Journalists, NGOs or diplomats, but also for common Baloch
citizens, who have no freedom of movement. There are 56 military
Garrissons, 168 cantonments and countless check-points on the roads of
Balochistan where, after about 25 Km, one can see the check-points where
the terrafic is stoped by "iron chains" called ...Saokallis..in the
language of local Balochs who speak
Brahui language.
In such Saonkali-check
points - iron chains - the mother of Shaheed
Assad Mengal and Muneer Mengal,was
arranged to be killed by Pakistani
Guards. The family of Sardar
Atta-ullah Khan Mengal was travelling to the
town of Wadh. According to the driver
of the jeep, the check-point was clear but when they reached near,
abruptly the chains were raised which resulted
the turn-up of the jeep. The first
wife of Sardare Mengal and the mathere Mengal was killed in
this conspiracy.
It`s no wonder that not
only Balochs but other ethnic minorities are
dreaming for their freedom...for
disintegration of Pakistan.
